Marielpi Corner House Guide
Welcome Tour
View the welcome tour of Marielpi Corner in the video below: please note that we have fully renovated our house with new furniture, so it doesn’t look like that, but the features are the same :))

Why you should throw toiler paper on the bin?
What to do when water doesn’t drain in the shower?
Sometimes, while you shower, your feet may accidentally close the drain. You can open it with your feet again or with your hands as shown in the video below:
How to turn hot water on?
Because Marielpi Corner doesn’t get much of direct sunlight, to turn the hot water on, you have to do it manually 5 to 15 minutes before you shower. You can check in the video below how to. You’ll have water for several hours with only 10 minutes having the hot water toggle on in the summer. IMPORTANT: we have added a new feature: you keep the water toggle on at all times and you only have to press on the black button that says Start:Â

How to turn the stove on?
To turn the stove on, make sure to have the OVEN toggle on (facing up) in the control center by the door (see video). Then, make sure you don’t have any pans on and then press the open button as you see in the video below:
Where to find more coffee capsules?
You can find more coffee capsules at the nearby grocery store. You can look for any NESPRESSO capsule; all are combatible. Here is the video on how to get to the grocery store from Marielpi Corner:
Where to take the house trash?
You can dispose your trash on the bin 1 minute walk from the house. You could also leave your trash by the door since there is a free early morning pickup service but we don’t reccomend it for hygiene reasons. Here’s the video to see how close two bins are to the house:
Where to find parking near Marielpi Corner
This is not the easiest thing to do in the Old Town (since cars are not allowed here), but it’s not impossible. You just need patience or some luck: either will do. Here is the recommended path to find parking and the route we take when we stay in Old Town.
Note that in the bridge you can also turn right, but I recommend you go there only if you see a spot; otherwise avoid since it’s tough to get out of there (it’s a two-way street at the size of a one-way road). So check this video and may the empty parking spot find you soon 😉
